    About

This pattern is now available online on this site as a downloadable pattern. At the time I knitted it the pattern was not available as I had tried several places to obtain it, as it was published years ago in an English Woman’s Weekly.

    Pattern

Girls and Babies Round Neck cardigans in Sirdar Snuggly DK 1915

    This pattern is from:

I have never seen the peg thing before what a great idea. I have pen and paper everywhere as well.

Heather, there is a pic above, it has 4 sections to it, so you can keep track of regular rows, pattern rows, decreases and increases, so handy, especially with more complex patterns.

At the time I was stunned by how expensive it was, especially if knitting counter and I didn’t get along, but it has turned out to be worth every cent and no scattered odds and ends of paper markings everywhere!

Jennifer - thank you for your kind comments, this was a very easy pattern once the border had been completed. Plus of course 8 ply knits up so quickly.
