    About

    Shellseeker is perfect for backyard work in Fall. The pocket at the front can hold precious little things you need or find while working the yard (echinacea heads of seeds, tie-wraps for hold Halloween decorations, pruning shears, etc) AND it can keep your hands warm. I chose colours that would look the season.
    I didn't want to have the plain, rolls on itself unfinished collar, so I added a bit of ribbing. Af first, I added corrugated ribbing, which was a mistake because it gave the sweater a 'clowny' look I didn't like. So I replaced it with a more regular ribbing, with a twist: some of the ribbing decrease from a 4x2 to a 2x2, to create sort fo a funnel neck. It works well.

    Notes: I added a ribbing to the collar, to give it a more finished look, and to prevent the wind from entering. There is a bit of decrease in the front of the collar, where 2x4 ribbing decreases into 2x2 ribbing (see photos). At first, I had made a corrugated ribbing, but it didn't look that good, so I frogged that.
