    About

I’ve had this pattern and yarn for about a year and never had much enthusiasm for starting it - I don’t know why as I usually love to knit this type of garment. I can usually memorise the pattern repeat but found that I did have to keep referring to the pattern instructions as the repeat was 48 rows. I suffered a hand injury so was unable to knit for several weeks so it felt like I was knitting this jacket forever! I am pleased with it now it’s finished. I also learnt a new skill, Kitchener stitch for grafting the back of the neckband.
