Zoe wanted a winter cardigan in grey open style, very pleased with it mostly although it did come out slightly bigger than I expected I still need to concentrate on my gauge.
I've bought this pattern and there are errors. The cables come out in reverse order. I can't find anything in the pattern for the border on the front edges. Did you have this problem?
I thought that too, the border looks like it’s inside out but when you’ve finished knitting you fold the border over and stitch it down at the bottom edge, hope this helps Karen
Thank you Cathy the collar is knitted in one piece with the front left and front right but the pattern is on the wrong side so when you’ve finished you fold it over and sew the bottom edge to help hold it in place so fairly easy once you realise that at first I thought the pattern was wrong and I was doing the pattern on the wrong side. Once you reach the top you just end up knitting on the collar piece until it is the correct length to join it to the other collar side and sew it to the top edge of your back piece. I always leave those stitches on a holder until I’ve sewn the collar to the back piece as in the past I’ve sewn them on and found myself a bit short to join to the other side!!! Probably user error on my part but you live and learn x
