    About

I used a black yarn with a black glitter thread through it, to create a (christmas gift) wrap/stole for my friend; who usually resorts to wearing a black jacket on a night-out. I embellished the ends with sewn-on lengths each of mini pom-pom, and a beaded trim. The pattern is a very simple 2-row of (K1, YFWD, K2tog) followed by a purl row. But to add interest, at regular intervals I switched to do one row of (K2tog, YFWD, K1) instead, then back to standard pattern. And at each end, I followed one purl row with another, to flip the ridges to the opposite side of the wrap. The wrap is knitted flat and can be done on either straight or circular needles.
