My daughter spotted this pattern while I was browsing for a toy to make for a baby gift. Then after I decided on the giraffe and we went shopping for the yarn she spotted this grey yarn with metallic rainbow sparkles and insisted I make the little bunny she had seen earlier. I did have her wait until I was completely finished with my other projects but this last weekend I finally sat down and made him.
Regarding the pattern, it was well-written but the head part did cause me some troubles because I have never done WT shaping the in the round before. I've made a lot of knit toys in my time and have done plenty of shaping but for some reason this was my first WT experience. So there was definitely a learning curve but thankfully it's a small toy so it wasn't very painful to redo the head a few times until I figured it all out.
I also wasn't a big fan of the tail part so I decided to sew it down a little bit to flatten and then added a little pom pom for a cotton tail.
