    Notes: There was no stated finished size on the pattern, only the exhortation to make it as wide and long as you like. The suggested number of stitches was given as 79, I used 95. To estimate the length, I counted what could be seen of the pattern repeats on the picture and then made some general estimates. I settled on 30 pattern repeats, and this was good because one ball of yarn gave me 16 pattern repeats. Two balls gave me ample yarn for 30 repeats and I added two rows of crochet (which are not part of the pattern) to tidy up the cast on/off edges which looked a little un-finished.
