A chunky hat for Franck that ended up a disaster

    About

This hat knitted up nicely enough and looked promising until I tried to block it. When I placed it in the water the stitches went all loose and baggy and the hat ended up twice the size!!
As it dried, it did gradually shrink but not back to the original size. It was still too big.
I am disappointed as I used a good yarn - Rowan Big Wool.

It still looks nice, i always knit with a smaller needle for chunky yarn than they say so it gets a tighter stitch especially if you are a
loose knitter. Never mind the next one will turn out better everyone has there disasters but we all learn from our mistakes.
