Product Details
Fun to crochet and display, this charming frosted gingerbread house is decorated with colorful popcorn-stitch gumdrops and chain stitch frosting. It's is made by crocheting pieces, attaching pieces to a cardboard frame, then trimming with crocheted trims. Bottom is open so house may be used to decoratively cover mail, toiletries or other items. American terminology.

Materials
Tan and white worsted/aran-weight yarn, plus candy colors such as orange, green, red, lavender, pink and yellow. May be made with DK yarn and smaller hook as well, for a slightly smaller house.
Size G crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
Tiny puff of polyester fiberfill (optional, for smoke in chimney)
Cardboard (such as a medium-weight cardboard box)
Box cutter or blade for cutting cardboard
about 2"-wide cellophane or packing tape
Graph paper with 4 squares per inch (optional, but useful)
Glue gun and glue sticks
