Did you know that the oldest crown that was used for the coronation of a European monarch is from the 9th century? It’s the Iron crown of Lombardy.
The pattern includes 4 different sizes: mini, S, M and L. When using a fingering weight yarn the size of your crown applique will be between 4,5 cm/1,77 inch (mini size) and 20 cm/7,87 inch (large size).
