Product Details
This is a crochet pattern for a gorgeous, hobo style, handbag. This bag is a great size to carry all of your everyday essentials.
The simple, yet pretty, design can be used as a casual, work or evening bag.
Written in US terms with a conversion chart included for UK terms. Photographs have been used throughout to help with clear instructions. A printer friendly version will also be included.
The pattern is worked using Aran/Worsted weight yarn, with a 5mm hook for the main bag, switching to a 4.5mm hook for the straps. I have used acrylic yarn, but you can use any yarn type you prefer.
My finished bag measures approximately 12”/ 30cm wide by 8”/20cm deep, with a gusset of 3”/ 7.5cm. My straps measure 16”/40.5cm long.
You will need: Aran/Worsted weight yarn in 2 colours - approx. 140g/282yds of your main colour, and 20g/41yds of your accent colour, 5mm and 4.5mm crochet hooks, Yarn needle, Scissors.
