    About

My husband and I run a B&B (Lee House in Lynton, North Devon) and a few years ago a lady stayed with us who wore at least one different shawl a day throughout her 5 night stay. They were all stunningly beautiful! When I commented on them she said "I'm a knitwear designer" and the guest was none other than Boo Knits herself. At the time I didn't think my knitting would be good enough to create her beautiful designs, but scroll forward a few years and I decided to start knitting again for the sole purpose of making some of her shawls. I wanted to make sure I would do her patterns justice so made a few other shawls first. I finally chose this design of Bev's and here is the result. I must confess I am now a knitting addict, so thank you Bev for inspiring me!

Thank you Sally. I enjoyed knitting this little shawl, so much so that I made another one for a friend.

Thank you Alison. I did fall in love with the colours of this skein! The pattern is great for a one skein project.

I'm totally a Boo lover too. Her shawls make me feel so feminine and glamorous and they are much easier than they look.

The only problem I've ever had is deciding which pattern to do next and finding the time to do it ;-) I have yarn for the next 2 shawls I want to make (Quite Continental and Spellbound), but am currently knitting a jumper for my lovely husband - he's waited long enough! Happy new year/new project!
