    About

My friend's english daughter and american son-in-law are expecting their first son. She does not like pastel colours so I decided to make it in red, white and blue to represent both countries in his heritage.
It is knitted in one piece with only the shoulder seams to join.

I love knitting and crocheting as it helps me in my battles to stay calm and rational. I have Graves desease which is a thyroid disorder with many symptoms. The main one that I suffer from is anxiety disorder which causes extreme stress to my body when I am in a full blown episode and my mind is being paranoid and playing horrible tricks on me. I take medication which helps on a day to day basis but if something unexpected and stressful happens the best way to try to calm myself is to pick up my knitting or crocheting as the rhythm and focus helps me to calm down. I always have something on the needles or hook as this my main lifeline.

I have knitted many of these! I love them especially using multi coloured sock yarn. A fabulous present, I am sure they will love it
