I made this for Arlo who loves cotton and waistcoats!

    About

    I thought I'd try this pattern starting from the cotton yarn I wanted, on the needles I wanted and just knit to the dimensions required. Much to my delight it worked like a charm.
    I did a split at the side to allow for movement and the edge is standard crochet.
