    This was my first blanket. I took up crochet for arthritis and have now given myself carpol tunnel but i will not be beaten :-) I struggle to read patterns and instructions but can look at pictures and copy them as much as i can. I have watched youtube and look at lots of pictures if i dont understand things. People ask.me to make stuff for them and i juat say yeah no probs and eek but with the internet and peoples advice when reading sites like this one i get there in the end.

    This pattern was very easy actually as the squares were all the same pattern and once i got that i was fine. Then you add all the extras.

    I really enjoyed doing this knowing it was going to someone that would really appreciate it.

    Other : I also brought a fleece blanket from Asda for £6 to back the blanket so lots of pins and hand stitching. Made it so snuggly and warm and if like me you cant hide all the joins in the yarn this is a perfect solution.
