You have to have a frog for the pond.

I made this for Old MacDonalds new pond.

    About

Using up my stash, even if the quantities are only small, gives me enormous satisfaction. Now I've added two more verses - the pond goes " splish, splash, splosh " and the frog goes "ribbit, ribbit".

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
      Deramores Studio dk - Peridot

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 3.00mm (US 2.5) 20cm

    Accessories

    • Stuffing
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : I used small amounts of white and black yarns to create the eyes, from my stash, of course. The DPNS were not specified but I like to use them when I'm knitting smaller pieces; I also used a smaller diameter needle to try to avoid stuffing break through (

    Measurements

Notes: The frog measures 13 cms. The pattern called for some intarsia work but I had started knitting before I realised so he's mostly green.

I love the look of the frog! I am knitting mini animals to start a zoo for my grandchildren.

Wendy, I can't wait to see your zoo; I'm sure your grandchildren will love it.
