    About

I'm always making things for other people so when I came across this gorgeous free pattern, I knew I had to have one for myself. It is "so me". And when I saw there was a special offer on the yarn too, it was a no-brainer!

I modified the pattern a bit. I wanted full length sleeves which involved some tricky calculations - maths not being my strongest subject - but I got there in the end and they worked out perfectly. I found the rib really fiddly to do and gave up after a few attempts so invented my own version which I think looks OK!

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 2.50mm (US 1.5)

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Buttons
Other : This cardigan was something of a labour of love for me and I took my time over it. I was thrilled to bits when I finished it and knew I had to have just the right buttons for it. I searched high and low until I found the perfect ones. They cost £10!

    Measurements

Notes: I made the cardigan in size 1 to fit chest 34/36 and changed the sleeve length from 3/4 to full length. It is a really nice fit.

This looks lovely. I prefer longer sleeves too, you've inspired me to give this a go.

This is so lovely! I love the buttons you've added on too - and are the pockets real?

I'm currently making my own granny square summer sweater (with a LOT of adjustments... it looks a bit strange at the moment). I hope to get something wearable out of it!
