    About

The 12 members of my quilting circle pick names and exchange gifts each Christmas. My friend Karen LOVES handknit toys and shortly after we picked names this year, she looked at me and said “I hope you got my name”. Well, I hadn’t - but Joyce - who happened to be standing there, came up to me later and said that SHE had picked Karen’s name. She asked if I would knit her a toy or doll. I was happy to do it since I LOVE knitting and have so many patterns just waiting to be knit. I chose the colors that I used for the mice because they are some of the colors that Karen used in a quilt that was voted “Viewer’s Choice” at our biannual quilt show this past September so I know she’ll really enjoy them.

    • Stuffing

    Measurements

Notes: 8 1/2 inches tall as per pattern. I made two changes - I knit the top for the boy but thought it made him look like a girl so I made straps for his pants and left it at that. Also, I made ties for the girl’s shoes instead of the balls.
