    I work at an Art Camp teaching 7-12 year olds how to embroider and crochet. One of the kids asked if we could have a crochet picnic! So I decided to make some crochet food - one for each student to teach them how to make these. Watermelon seemed like a perfect summer food! I used a variety of stash yarn including Rowan Revive, Blue Sky Skinny Cotton, Plymouth EncoreDK, Lion Brand, Loop sand Threads Color wheel. My neighbor asked what do the kids DO with these? As with all toys and stuffed items, I leave that to their imagination!
