    About

To be honest, I had some Marble yarn bought as a 3 for 2 offer and was trying to think of ways to use it. I used a plain hexagon to highlight the Marble drifts, and found colours to compliment. The cream hexagons use a popcorn stitch centre with a regular hexagon border to make them the same size as the others.
It's a heavy blanket and I'm glad the typical British Summer isn't so warm this year.

This is a gorgeous blanket. Is there a pattern associated?

Thank you, I'm glad you like the blanket (still waiting for ends to be seen in). There is no pattern for the overal layout, as I made it up.
The central bobble hexs are extended versions of http://www.dailycrochet.com/free-pattern-this-bobbly-flower-hexagon-was-inspired-by-and-designed-after-a-vintage-afghan/

The other hexagons are basic crochet hexs
