    About

I wanted to make a fairly small blanket but still with a bit of a twist. The blankets with words on looked interesting and this pattern is very pretty. The puff stitch in the pattern uses a 6 x yarn over which gives 13 loops to pull through but I couldn't do that easily so I used a 4 x yarn over which gives 9 loops which is easier and doesn't spoil the effect. Plus it saves a lot of yarn. I added another couple of rounds with a border of puff stitches to enclose the whole pattern. I'm very pleased with how it has turned out. The puff stitches give a lovely texture too. I also used a new technique, the magic no-ends knot, ( you can copy this link - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tuUEn69Hn6Q ) for joining the new balls of yarn which meant that there were only 2 ends to sew in. I just hope they hold!!
