Hi Donna, I picked up stitches on each edge and knit 12 rows of garter stitch. I didn’t line the blanket. Can’t wait to see yours completed.

@May M: thanks just thought of lining it to avoid having to sew in all those ends ! Any tips to do it quick 🤣

@Donna S: I’m afraid not. I did a lot of the sewing as I went along so didn’t have too much at the end. It a chore isn’t it? But it will be worth it! Lining it could be an option but I wouldn’t know where to start. Good luck 🙂

I started with 51 stitches and made up a chart of when to use each of the colours. I numbered the yarn - 1 urban, 2 fab ans 3 cool. The first row of squares along the bottom was 1,2,1,3,1,2,1,3 etc for as wide as you want the blanket.
and the next row 2,1,3,1,2,1,3,1 etc
        and the next row
        1,3,1,2,1,3,1,2
        and the next 3,1,2,1,3,1,2,1
        and then repeat
Hope this helps and happy knitting

@Donna S: it took me a long time to complete between other projects but it's a great go to project when you don't want to tackle anything too complicated. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your finished blanket
