    About

I grew up in Scotland so when I saw this pattern, I knew I would have to make it. I used Louet gems fingering in white, candy apple red, and cobalt. Because it's top down, you're working the motifs upside down and it has double yarn overs and what seems like random knit3tog. I kept going from the chart to written instructions and then back to the chart. It's not really difficult but I found it frustrating to knit. Glad it's done. I had it hibernating for a while and worked other projects in between.

Very pretty and I love the sharpness of the lines and lacey patterns between them. A lot of hard work went into this one. Love it.
