So, I ended up making two sweaters - the first one ended up being for my daughter, as it was a bit snug and the sleeves were too long for Mum-in-law. it was easier to just start again! The photo shows it on my daughter, and then the final sweater for Mum on a table. i ended up ripping it back 3 times even then, trying to tweak the fit. :-) But it was fun anyway.
