    About

This has to be one of the most beautiful things I have knitted! It looks just gorgeous and was really enjoyable to knit. I used the colour and yarn recommended by the designer and love them both. I will definitely look to use this Rico Baby Cotton Soft DK yarn again and this pattern too! The pattern is not difficult and the sewing up is just the straight side seams. I blocked, with a damp cloth, the skirt part of both front and back before proceeding to knit the gathering row between the skirt and the bodice as it is not so easy to do afterwards. This settled the hem line which was trying to curl a little. I was conscious not to knit Pattern 2 and 3 on the hemline too tight. I increased the needle size to get nearer to the tension listed in the pattern.
