    About

I made this for my grandma, who taught me how to crochet. This is the first thing I've completed that I feel good enough about to gift to her. I used a pattern off Ravelry for the main body: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/schal-quiraing
For the boarder, I found an image of a pineapple pattern and deciphered it.
Took me a while to complete because I didn't touch it all of December as I was crocheting gifts for family members for Christmas. Didn't really pick it back up until February.
A lot of challenges on this pattern and I'm so happy with how it turned out, even if it isn't entirely perfect :)

If I was your grandma, I'd be very proud of this lovely shawl. You've done well, young padawan. :)
