25/12/17: I now know how to work intarsia in the round! I turned up the bands & knitted them together rather than sewing them up later. I am casting off using a stretchy “bind off”. Knit 2 tog thru back loop, return knitted stitch to left-hand needle purlwise, repeat.
This was my first attempt at short rows but they turned out very well I think. I want to make this again in a Size 6 but since the boy has a large head, I’m going to see if I can do short rows with a split in the back so I can put in some buttons… challenging.
1/1/18: Kitchener stitch to complete the underarms. Now to block. Although this is a size 2 we’ll take it with us when we visit for Grover’s 1st birthday later this month as it may fit him at 18 months.
I have very little white left although the amount recommended says one ball will do both jumper & beanie. No way. If I want to do the beanie, I’ll have to order another ball which is annoying.
