    About

A young mum who loves greens and purples rather than baby colours, i did this cardigan in a soft green paintbox yarn. The baby looked so sweet in the cardigan mum has asked for another one in dark mauve. Mum can do that one I think as I have another gift to do.

I made it too, also in a bright green, for a one-year-old boy, and I made another in pink for a newborn girl. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photographs of them.

The pattern was very well written, detailed and easy to follow. I was delighted with the finished garments - as were the mothers of the two babies.

The raglan sleeve is so much neater than the dropped-shoulder design, and I love the fact that the pattern is suitable for boys or girls.

If the designer ever scales this up, and releases it as a pattern for adults, I'll be first in the queue!

Thank you Ann for your lovely comments. I am so pleased you found the pattern easy to follow.
I love the raglan sleeve on little ones.

I do try and think of designs that will work for boys or girls as well as designs that are for just boy or girl.

I have been asked a few times about doing bigger children sizes and adult, I will let you know if I do. I have a few designs I have done for myself but not written them up for easy reading yet.

Thank you again for your lovely comments, it means a lot. Mary

It is nice isn't it? I love how soft the yarn is as well.
