I did a class on Tunisian Crochet about 15 years ago and made at least 5 scarves as a result. I got my mother's scarf back after she passed away and recently decided to turn hers and mine into cowls by joining the ends up. They are made in either Afghan or Mohair wool and are lovely, soft and warm to wear in Winter, which it is now down here in Australia. Tunisian crochet was very easy and quick to learn to do, but unfortunately I've since forgotten how you do it - I still have the hook and really should look it up online!
