I love how knitting calms my mind. I cherish hand crafting. I make myself a cup of tea or coffee, a little snack, get my knitting needles out and sit down - if possible outside! I always carry my projects around in a little bag, so I can sit or stand where ever I get the chance and have a little knit.. even a row or two is fine! By the end of the day it feels so good to have found a little time for yourself, a little achievement you can actually see!
I have had migraines since I was a teen (for over 20years now), I tried everything incl acupuncture and hypnosis, special diets, herbs, .. Knitting finally did the trick!! I sit down before bedtime and relax, get calm - and knit!
