My daughter asked me to knit this for a friend, and liked a vibrant pink mix I’d made, but the yarn was Australian, so I looked for something similar. This looked ok online, but was actually pastel shades. Still pretty, but not as vibrant as hoped. Posted it off anyway.
We’re all different. I’d go for a raglan every time, especially for tots to avoid the seam around armhole and shoulder, but my daughter’s favourite for her toddlers is the shawl collar which has set in sleeves.
