Most of my crochet is for my adorable granddaughters. This gift is for my lovely daughter. I really like this sweater now that it’s finished think I’ll crochet one for myself
I missed out the panel in the sleeves and just continued in pattern throughout . I didn’t have a problem with the increase I’ve reread the pattern I just followed as described increasing 1st on every row indicated . Sorry not much help !
Looks lovely, notice you haven't put the stripey effect in the arms & nice to see that as was thinking similar lol....Would love to make this for my mum & wondering if i could use DK [as i've heaps] with this pattern just use smaller hook?
You start with the rib 12 stitches deep & crochet until the length is the width you require for the back fasten off. Then pick up the number of stitches you need for the back along the length of the rib . I hope this makes sense ?
Thanks Louise . No problems with pattern although it is printed in US terms not UK . Therefore (sc) single crochet is U.K. double crochet & (dc) double crochet is U.K. treble hope this helps . When I’ve completed first pattern repeat I tend to follow diagram for measurements.

How did you work the increase rows of the arms, as I am struggling to understand this particular section of the pattern?
