    I started knitting again when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and the hospital I had surgery in also had a specialist maternity unit and preemie baby unit. Knitting Baby items was a way I could repay for the fabulous care I had there and it helped me through the chemotherapy and the neuropathy I now have. These hats and bootees are the start of the latest batch for the babies.

    Other : I also used oddments of wool from my stash and my row counter
