    About

We always have a Memorial Service on Remembrance Sunday in the Village of Woburn Sands. Everyone gets involved. Unfortunately we lost a lot of residents during World War 2 and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have the village we have today. I always remind my daughter Beth of this. I wanted to put something together to signify this event plus I always feel the cold quite a bit so this is perfect for me. The hat is knitted and the poppy is crochet and can be stitched onto the hat or use a safety pin so the poppy can be detached.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 3.25mm (US 3)
    • Single Point 7.00mm (US 10.75)
Other : Crochet hook is needed for the poppy using simple crochet technique. If you use the safety pin you can detach the poppy at any time. You will need oddments of red aran yarn for the poppy

Hi Sally I am more than happy to help the British Royal Legion with a pattern. I can always email over a couple if that helps. I also live near Bletchley Park.
