I am sure she will love it. I do! Love this designer so you have led me astray here and maybe after I have finished Cosmic I will have a go.

You will enjoy making it I think, I love all her work, all the terminology is us , but it’s well worth the effort. I have only just started Cosmic yesterday, it’s challenging, but so pretty.

@Linda L: I am used to US terminology in fact it makes more sense to me but it is remembering when a dc is a dc or is it a tr! Catches me out every time. I found the start of Cosmic really challenging but I am into the swing of it now. I used her videos a few times but beware as the instructions are in UK terms but her video is in US terms. What colours are you using? I really love Hooks n Tails so another on my list!

@Vix: I too find us terms make more sense , but I am about to throw cosmic out the window started yesterday managed r 13 13ruffle stitch ( took about 2 hrs ) then comes row 14 chequed out the video, well I just don’t get it , I have been at it most of the afternoon my yarn looks like felt , and I think I need to find a new hobby.
Colour wise I tend to go for lilacs purple pinks and whatever colours will blend nicely together.

@Linda L: I had same trouble I think it took me ages to get my head round it. One mistake I did was missing out the first stitch starting in second instead and going down to row 12. I did nearly give up but gave myself a good talking to! Am sure if I email Helen she would help. I actually renamed it BST - blood, sweat and tears. I love aqua, greens and turquoise and tho not keen on pink per se I love pink and peach with aqua. Hope you can sort it. I have scraped thru to row 79.

@Vix: well done for getting so far with it yours looks lovely, I know what the problem is I can’t recognise the loops at the back of the work behind the ruffles, I may have to leave it alone for a bit, and come back to it, I have 20 , 50 Gram balls of cream cotton that need making into a long waistcoat, need to get started before I am to old to wear it, lol, I love aqua greens and turquoise together as well,
