Patchwork Knitted Play mat or pram coveer

I made this for I enjoy patchwork and knitting and I thought I would see if I could make a combination of the two with some knitted lace thrown in for good measure.

    About

    I have made a few pram covers lately in the never ending quest to use up my stash of yarn. This was quite an ambitious challenge with the combination of fabric and yarn but I think it came off very well and has a pretty, vintage feel about it which is just what I was aiming for.

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : 1 metre of fabric for patches
    1 metre of backing fabric
    80cm x 80cm of fusible wadding.
    Wool Needle
    sewing cotton
    sewing needle
    Sewing machine is very handy for hemming the fabric patches
