    About

After knitting my first jumper I was keen to start another. The new Willow & Lark yarns and patterns look beautiful so I wanted to try knitting something from the collection.

It's my first time knitting cables (successfully so far!) and this will be for myself so thankfully there's no pressure!

I am making the same jumper in the same colour but I'm short around half a ball. Would you have any left over from yours you would be willing to sell??

I have just purchased the yarn and pattern for this sweater but am now concerned as I purchased 8 balls as specified but think it might take more

I have been having a similar issue with garments I have knitted - always safer to get that extra ball. Or I recommend knitting a tension square first to see if you can adjust to the pattern size with the 8 balls!

@Kelly: Uggh, that’s always the worst part! I have ordered the wool and pattern so hopefully mine comes together as nicely as yours

@Raquel C: it's so satisfying to see it coming together. Yes, I just need to commit and stop picking up new WIPs :)

This looks gorgeous I'm thinking of doing it in hunter but they have so many nice colours and the cable really stands out .

I'm in awe as it's beautiful! I haven't tried cable yet. It's so neat and the colour is lovely. Well done!

Thank you so much! It was tricky for the first few cables - I’m still learning how to keep a consistent tension, but the outcome is well worth all the knitting!
