    About

Reading LK blog about Caron Cakes and just had to try it for myself. Loved the yarn and loved the colour choices - I can see what I'll be making for Christmas gifts.

    Pattern

    Easiest Shawl Pattern Ever

    This pattern is from:
    Loveknitting blog post link.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Caron Cakes - Faerie Cake 1 ball

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : The little tassle used up the last of the yarn and just adds a cheeky touch.

    Measurements

Notes: I just used the one Caron Cake - 200g - and the Shawlette measures 135 cms wide (53.5") by 64 cms long (25") not including the tassle. The tassle is not in the pattern ( YO, k to end) but I didn't want to add to the stash.

Brenda it's so simple ; make a slip knot as your first stitch then your second and every other row till you cast off is yarn over, knit one. It's on the LK blog too.
