    I'd made a blanket for my father to use whilst he was in his wheel chair. My mother used to wrap it round her shoulders when she was letting her spoilt little pouch out, last thing at night. She hinted that she would love a shawl, so I hope she likes this one. I finished the top edge with a row of SC

      I love the color you picked. This reminds me of all the corner to corner patterns that all the rage., but this pattern uses lacy arcs, not solid blocks. Much more sophisticated. Your project looks square, not triangular like the pattern. I would love to know how that was accomplished. I would like to make this in a dk weight for a throw. Thanks for sharing your work of love.

        The shawl is triangular but I'm sure there's a YouTube video that shows you how to do the virus pattern square for blankets.
