    About

    I love cats. I support several cat charities and also make items to sell at their various annual fairs and fetes. I used to make knitted/ crochet square blankets in fancy designs but decided I wanted to make something thicker, more luxurious and visually interesting - so I hit on the idea of crocheted round blankets - Mandalas for Moggies
    I use wool from my stash, thick yarns and multiples of fine yarns, and decorative yarns. I employ thick textural stitches with nobbles, frills, and layering etc. to get real depth. I start off with a collection of yarns for a design then make it up as I go along - very enjoyable to watch it grow!! I am about to start my 10th Mandala!!

    • Single Point 5.50mm (US 9) 33cm
    • Crochet Hook 4.00mm (US 6)
    • Crochet Hook 5.00mm (US 8)

    Accessories

    Other : I knit a circle of the multicolour red/grey/pink to add an extra layer under the centre
