    About

This is the second little bolero for my two grand daughters. The pattern is gorgeous and knits up really well. I can't wait to see how they look when we visit them in Hong Kong soon.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.75mm (US 2) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Buttons
Other : One flower pattern button in a green and white shade.

    Measurements

    6yo

Notes: As the yarn was quite thin for a 4 ply, I decided to use 2.75 needles to get a nice finish. As a consequence of dropping the needle size I then increased the garment size to a 6 year old, hoping that it will work out OK for Sarah who wears a 4 year old size. I will find out soon!

Yes, the pattern is really gorgeous. I chose the colours to go with two sun dresses I have bought to take up to Hong Kong with the boleros.

Love them, your granddaughters will look stunning in them. I have one on the go at the moment, but have been on 2 other projects as well. Thanks for the info on making a larger size, I am lousy at working out how to size up a garment!

Thank you. I am very excited about seeing Hannah and Sarah, and having a holiday with them. I always like to take some new knitted garments and clothes for them, and some N.Z. story books that I can read to them while I am there.
