    About

March and April are busy for birthdays and I like to give handmade gifts. I like to make cushions and thought lacy crochet ones would be nice. Also I had some Paintbox DK cotton left from another project. I searched on Pinterest for inspiration and found the Flower Burst pattern https://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/136152468/Flower-Burst . I added some additional rounds from week 6 of the De creatieve wereld van Terray: Crochet Along-2015. http://terraysleven.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Crochet%20Along-2015%20English%20Version
There were 15/16 rounds on the 2 versions I made. I made 2 identical sides which were then joined together by a border of double crochet, adding the cushion pad once 3 sides were done. I found that a section of 9 trebles on the final round at each corner helped to stop the cushion corner point from sticking through.

Based on 'Flower Burst' with added rounds
