    About

    I used a larger hook for a softer drape - and less chain for width.
    I started with 165 chain - 8 x 20 plus 5 turning ch. This made 80 little squares in row 1 and 20 shell groups in row 5.
    I added row 12 the same as row 6, then repeated rows 1-12 once (thanks for notes by Nicole on Walk by the Water poncho). I then repeated rows 1-12 twice more with dc rows instead of lace panel. Easier to work from the chart on this pattern.
