    About

Last year my textile artist sister made the present, which we gave jointly. This year, we reversed the role.

I had a poor start with a circular nèedle that kept snagging on the yarn. When I made a mistake it made ripping back (stitch by stitch with lace) almost impossible as the knitting wouldn't slide. Started with fresh needle and other than needing to catch up one wayward stitch with a tapestry needle, I am pleased with the result. I can see where that happened but no one else has found it so I hope Father Christmas doesn't disappoint this year.

The yarn is beautifully soft and knits well to the finer lace patterns in Jane Sowerby's book. I imagine it would work really well with specific patterns for the yarn.
