Harriott Knuckles knitted this wonderful head as a maquette for The Knitting Pattern play - a play about knitting destiny during The French Revolution of 1789. She went on to knit two more heads. Inspired by this, a group of knitters have begun work in Dorking, knitting heads of some of the characters associated with the play, including Marie Antoinette!
