    About

my sister is getting married and she wanted my dress in this rose pink colour and a request that it reflect my personality, so I got on the loveknitting website and started searching! the lace yarn it took me a few minutes to get used to knitting with it, the pattern was correct and easy to follow, mainly stocking stitch , knit in one piece from the top down, with basic lace top and lace end, I wrote out the lace chart and highlighted each stitch, which kept me on track! It has been the most engaging summer project I have done, I couldn't put it down! the novelty of knitting a complete dress gathered huge interest amongst family, friends and fellow knitters, I felt I was aiming for olympic gold! so it is with pride I finished this dress, it fits beautifully , the colour and yarn quality are fabulous, can't wait to surprise my sister with it. I think a knitted belt ......

Thank you Susie! The dress was a big success, I too was apprehensive at the start but found it less complicated than I thought, all the best with your knitting :)
