    About

I had finally managed to save my money from sales of shawls and blankets to get my new iPhone.

Now I can get back to my latest love, yarn cakes. My husband just rolls his eyes.

If anyone is interested in this pattern I've posted it on my Instagram along with step by step pics of my pattern I use for my blankets. You can find me there @yarn_addict_oz

I've also had custom orders as well which has kept me busy.

I love your creations! I'm also very envious of the yarn cakes :)

Hi Wendy. Thank you for your kind words. I'm having a lot of fun with yarn cakes. The colour changes aren't dramatic and the knots are well hidden within the shawl. I'm on a shawl using a Wollfamos cake. The colour changes using this yarn are are just as gradual as Scheepjes, but the knot on the colour change is almost non existent.

Hi Vix. I'm dreadfully hooked on them and they take up less room than regular balls of yarn. My justification to hubby :) He's just the best.

@Vix: My husband mentioned to me last night that my cake stash seems to be growing. I told him I just moved them around ????
