    About

This has worked out soo well!
I took just three skeins of this gorgeous yarn and five days of knitting to create a really big, warm wrap with lots of drape and beautiful stitch definition - just the thing for the variable weather we are experiencing in the run up to Easter!
I think I might have to put it away next week, because we're expecting lots of visitors for the holiday weekend and I can just tell that they'll all be wanting one!

Thank you! All of the Hudson Worsted shades are so lovely, I had trouble deciding which to choose!

Another wrap to add to my "To Do" list! Mind you with house renovations almost done and moving it might be a little while yet ...

Perfect excuse, then, Pat - something to keep you warm till the house is all nice and snuggly!!

And thanks for the compliment. I'm wearing this one right now - it's lovely yarn and very easy to work with...

@Stella Ackroyd: The heating is now on and I've less than 10 days till we move ... Even though I'm a speedy knitter it's a bit too much to take on amongst running my knitty business and packing! Mind you I may just have to order yarn ready to start it :-)

@Pat E: Oh how exciting! I know exactly how you feel, I was in the same boat just a couple of years back. Good luck, I guess it's going to be a busy Easter for you this year!!

@Stella Ackroyd: Thankyou. I have Fibromyalgia and ME so every day is a challenge. We've been renovating a house which has taken forever and been extremely stressful (not good for my health!) because of awol tradesmen. We have to be out of our rental so we're moving on 5th April. The house won't be as finished as we'd have liked but we have no choice. Well we could be homeless!

@Pat E: oh dear, I’ll keep everything crossed for you that it goes as smoothly as possible. Hopefully then you’ll be able to settle down a bit and your health will improve as a result. It’s a perfect time to move to a new home, just in time for the lovely long summer months. Good luck!

@Stella Ackroyd: Thankyou. The garden is still a building site so hopefully I may find a little place to sit in by summer with my knitty needles :-) I've never been so utterly exhausted. Just need to be settled now.
