A fun project, yet somewhat time consuming (it has 100 squares!), relatively straight forward, the trim was very surprisingly straightforward, feels lovely & soft, comforting & even cushioned, thanks to the type of yarn & the type of stitch (treble).
This was a LONG time in the making! But I loved every minute of it, partly because I promised myself to only work on it when I was in a good mood! I didn't want Rowan (my cousin) to have anything even slightly negative connected to this blanket. I think it worked too! I wasn't sure what type of reaction this would provide, but he threw it in the air for it to land on him, so he could cuddle it, so I think that's a good response! (Well, I over the moon with the reactions!) I'd been worried it wouldn't be good enough, but it stayed together when washed & the type of yarn makes it feel lovely & soft.
