    About

I have been wanting to knit this pattern every time I see someone else has made it on the Community Page, it always looks so gorgeous! I love the side opening and all the buttons, they are a real feature. I spent sometime searching for the right buttons to compliment the design. I was able to use some yarn left over from making a Rainbow Cardigan. I managed to carefully carry the yarn up the outside of the front border to save sewing in too many ends! I found it a bit tricky knitting the little sleeves in the round with the magic needle method and carrying the yarn between stripes at the same time. I would not decrease on the sleeves in future.

    Pattern

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 5.50mm (US 9) 100cm

    Accessories

    • Buttons
    Other : 9 metallic buttons

    Measurements

9-12 months for stitches, & 6 month for the length

Notes: As I used Aran / 10 ply weight yarn and not the Chunky / 12 ply as in the pattern, to get a finished six month size I knitted the 9-12 months size but only knitted the length to the six month sizing.
